We share because it’s what has been taught for generations. Not only for the survival of ourselves, our families and our people, but because it has always been the right thing to do.
We come from a civilization that was not built on power and the acquisition of wealth. We come from a civilization who did not cast away their relationship with the earth, or their responsibililites to keep the earth protected and who in turn are still thankful for the life that the earth provides.
I am not deeply educated in industry or the roots of the society we live in now, and I do have to say that I can understand that for centuries before, despite the destruction that came with it, the other people have also been taught a particular way of life. A way of life that has been gone from their hearts for a really long time.
The only difference between us and the other people is based on what we believe. And I don’t know which is harder-trying to de-program the lie from our minds, or, desperately hanging on to the idea that the lie will sustain us.
